The Design Practice of Jason Oglesby.
A selection of work done between 2022 and 2025
These posters were created for two artists showcasing their work at the Whitney Museum in NYC. Both versions of the flag invite viewers to consider their personal connection to the flag, the country, and national traditions.
Experiencing America
This project explored how new visual systems could express YETI’s rugged authenticity. My goal was to create visuals that embody endurance, simplicity, and a deep connection to nature — core values of the YETI brand. Through this work, I refined my approach to typography, color, and visual storytelling to convey strength and clarity across different media. This project deepened my understanding of how design can visually communicate experience, purpose, and brand identity.
YETI
This photo series documents political protests across New York City, capturing the energy, emotion, and diversity of public expression in moments of collective action. Each photograph reflects the tension and unity that coexist within protest — revealing the city as both a backdrop and a participant in the ongoing conversation about democracy, justice, and identity in America.
Echoes of Dissent
Assigned to create three posters for an architecture forum, I decided to showcase three architects whose work I greatly admire. I wanted to highlight their unique styles and contributions to the field, aiming to inspire attendees and provoke thoughtful discussions.
